Fos Silk & Pearl

A silk cord made for a good cause. Designed by creative duo KREO (Konstantinos & Kyriaki), produced by MANTILITY (the Greek Gallery of Silk), embellished by HERMINA ATHENS and “nurtured” by Psychologist STELLA ARGYRIOU. A team of people who joined forces to help raise funds for women facing domestic violence*.

The word “Φως” meaning light in Greek is imprinted on silk symbolizing hope. A reminder that darkness is only a temporary condition. The wound that can be a crack to let the light in.

Made of 100% twill silk and produced in Soufli, a Greek region with a long tradition in silk. The cord has been handsewn and embellished with our staple Galini Pearl. The pearl can also slide off the silk corl to be worn separately.
